How to Choose the Perfect Necklace...

Choker Necklace

Choker

A Choker Necklace measures 12-15 inches, it will sit comfortably in the hollow of the neck. It's classic, timeless and versatile look means it can be warn with any neckline.
Princess Necklace

Princess

A Princess Necklace measures 16-19 inches, falling just below the throat. Typically the Princess length can be warn as a contrast to a low, plunging neckline, however when paired with a high neckline this look never gets old.

 Matinee Necklace

Matinee

A Matinee Necklace measure 20-24 inches, which will sit just above the chest area. This length works well with casual or business dress, and creates a very sassy look with a strapless top or dress.

 Opera Necklace

Opera

An Opera Necklaces measures 28-34 inches, this length with fall around the bust level. The Opera length works perfectly as a contrast to a high neckline, or paired together with a plunging necklace.

Rope Lariat Necklace

Rope

A Rope Necklace measures anything about 35inches. The versatile Rope Necklace is a must have accessory. It can be layered up, tied in a knot or warn as it comes.

Lariat

A Lariat Necklace is one long strand and unlike a normal necklace it doesn't have a clasp. It can be tied or wrapped in a number of ways to create a variety of looks such as:

  • Layered Strand- place the middle of the strand at the middle of your throat then wind around the neck as many times as you like, then tie however you want at the front at whatever length.

  • Quick Tie - tie one end of the strand over the other at what ever length.

  • Slip knot - tie one end around the other with a single pretzel knot by wrapping strand A around strand B once, then threading strand A through itself.

  • Belt - Who says it has to go around your neck...? Why not try tiying the strand around your waist or maybe below the bust.

How to pick the perfect colour according to your skin colour

I personally think that as long as you feel confident in a piece of jewellery it will reflet on the way you look. But did you know that the colours you wear can have a positive or negative effect on your appearance? This is judged by whether your skin has a warm or cold tone.  Selecting the right colours can result in your skin tone appearing bright, radiant and glowing and leading to the eyes appearing brighter and more alert. To determine what colours will look better on you, you must analyze your skin tone, natural hair colour and eye colour. To determine your true skin colour look at the inside of your arm in natural daylight and the veins in your arm will determine what colour group you belong to. There are 4 seasons of skin tones which are divided into warm and cool tones. Cool tones are and Summer complexions and warm tones are Autumn and Spring complexions.
